What is denturology?

Denturology is a branch of dentistry dedicated to the design, fabrication, fitting, and repair of removable dental prostheses, whether full or partial. The denturist assesses the patient’s oral condition, takes impressions, designs the prosthesis, and ensures its proper fit to optimize comfort, chewing function, and aesthetics.
