The intensity of the pain can vary from person to person and depending on the nature of the procedure. You have been prescribed or advised to take pain relievers to relieve this pain as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"c-two-columns_right\">\n                <h2>Swelling<\/h2>\n<p>There may be swelling and even bruising at the surgical site. For the first 24 hours, apply ice to the affected side of your face for 20 minutes every hour to reduce the swelling. If you have had a bone graft, it is normal to experience swelling.<\/p>\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section   class=\"o-block\">\n    <div class=\"c-text-v1 o-container\">\n        <div class=\"c-text_inner align-left\">\n                            <div class=\"c-text_content animated h2-primary-700 p-primary-700\" data-animation=\"fadeInUp\">\n                    <h2>Oral Care<\/h2>\n<p>Clean your mouth as usual, taking care not to touch the wound. Your mouth must remain clean to aid healing. Most often, people go to the dentist to have the tooth reimplanted.
